Hope everybody had a great holiday — it’s such a relief to know that Hunt for the Hydra is actually out there for people to read.
Yesterday Jupiter Pirates was featured on The Big Idea, a feature on John Scalzi’s rather awesome site in which writers discuss “the big idea” in their book, how they found it, and how it shaped their writing. I discuss how the story of Jupiter Pirates took shape and give some hints about what’s to come. If you haven’t read Hunt for the Hydra yet, be advised there are some (minor) spoilers.
Meanwhile, an author doesn’t rest: I need to start reviewing copy-edits for The Jupiter Pirates: Curse of the Iris, which is heading your way in 50 weeks or so.
Well, after I drink a cold Dr Pepper.
If you haven’t joined the Crew, the Jupiter Pirates email list, you can do so right here. Sign up and within the hour you’ll get an exclusive as a thank-you — Vesuvia’s dossier on the Shadow Comet‘s bridge crew. And I’ll have more goodies for members in the future.
